Unfortunately fired. After finishing the first cycle of Buck Danny Classic there was a conflict between Arroyo and his principals.
It's rumoured that Arroyo should work faster. Since cycle 2, Arroyo's drawings were less accurate, faces look caricatural and his
pages look empty. Also there were unnecessary misstakes and he copied scenes from old Buck Danny albums.
A bad sign after finshing the first cycle was: Arroyo removed connections with series Buck Danny on social media and LinkedIn.
Arroyo's first cycle of Buck Danny Classic looked promising, however his albums since were disappointing.
The French comic-journalist Jean-Laurant Truc tried to interview Arroyo about being fired, but so far he didn't succeed.

about the youth of Buck Danny. Scenario written by Yann (Angel Wings, Thorgal, etc.). But the next cycle is about the Sea Dart
airplane. "Sea Dart", a discontinued project by the US-Navy from the mid-50s.

To fill the (time) gap between Buck Danny Classic volume 6 and volume 7 (as the publisher had to find a new artist), the publisher
came with 2 Buck Danny ~ Short Stories albums (
album #1/2 and
album #2/2). These albums came in a king-size format too, and
within 4 months. These short stories were in the past published in the Tout Buck Danny bundles and today in the Buck Danny Integrales.
(in the standard format).
Short Buck Danny stories and gags by the late Victor Hubinon. This time the short black & white stories and both album covers were
coloured by the Italian Ketty Fomaggio. She coloured also a new short story by her husband Giuseppe de Luca, with Buck Danny during
the Korean War.(Ketty Formaggio is also the colourist of the Buck Danny Classic and the Tanguy & Laverdure Classic spin-off series).
In Short Stories volume 2/2 Giuseppe de Luca is announced as the successor of Arroyo, but the publisher has choosen André le Bras yet.
Probably this 7 page short story was a test: is Giuseppe able to be the successor of Arroyo. Looking at the faces of our 3 hero's, Giuseppe
still has to practice.
